Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Is Confirmed To Be Coming To Xbox Game Pass

Chatter surrounding Xbox remains an echoed talking point after the acquisition of Activision Blizzard this past fall: how will the firm be using these new franchises? Of course, the largest talking point is Xbox Game Pass. Thus far, the only game to do this is Diablo IV this past spring. However, according to one report, the next mainline installment for Call of Duty is prepared to be released for the subscription later in 2024.

So, when would this be official? Well was quickly pieced together that the upcoming Xbox Game Showcase and [Redacted] Direct on June 9th is for the upcoming Call of Duty game. Since then, development revealed that the new game will be titled’ Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’. Additionally, there is a new live-action trailer that will be uploaded this week. So there are a few windows to expect the announcement.

And after users received notifications on the announcement prematurely on Tuesday, it was officially confirmed that Xbox Game Pass will be adding Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to its library later this year. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“We’re excited to confirm that Game Pass members will be able to jump into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on day one with Game Pass,” Xbox Game Pass senior community lead Megan Spurr announces. Now, the trailer ends by sharing the proper ‘World Reveal’ is to take place next month during the Xbox presentation in June.

What else is confirmed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is that the game will be on last-generation hardware. This was revealed by users that work at retailers which revealed the news.
