Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will not have campaign early access

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to release on October 25, 2024, and usually with the release of Call of Duty titles there is an early access period for the Campaign. Activision has confirmed that Black Ops 6 will not have a campaign early access period compared to the last few years with Modern Warfare II and Modern Warfare III.

Activision has given the following statement to CharlieIntel:

“The team is fully focused on October 25th. We are excited about all the game has to offer across Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies. This year, we made the decision to ensure the community gets to dig in to any and all modes that they want at the same time, so we are back to one massive global launch moment October 25th. As such, there is no Early Access beat this year for Black Ops 6, just the countdown to launch.”

Last year for Modern Warfare III, the game received a lot of negative feedback for its short Campaign. Activision didn’t give the exact reason why they made this move besides to let the community dive in at once.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will release for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
