Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile Ships March 21st

Although Call of Duty as an IP collectively remains on of the biggest properties globally, the firm is reshaping its business model for more platforms. Recently, it was revealed that the 2023 release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III did underperform compared to Hogwarts Legacy. But, the first-person shooter is going mobile in the coming future.

According to one reveal, this new entry for smart devices is to directly tie into Warzone 2.0 across console, PC, and mobile. Additionally, the game already went live for pre-registration counting for a total of 45 million users by this past November. What’s left for the game now is its anticipated release window for spring 2024.

In a new announcement on Thursday, Activision announced Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is to ship in just one week for App Store & Google Play Store. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile features one of the highest live player count in any mobile FPS Battle Royale game. Test your skills in battle by surviving and dominating the frontlines against up to 120 real players in exciting Battle Royale matches,” an overview reads for the game. “Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile delivers fast-paced, high-octane online gameplay with next level graphics and customization. The wait for immersive, state-of-the-art mobile graphics is over.”

It continues: “Explore and dominate competitors in iconic Battle Royale maps, Verdansk and Rebirth Island. Squad up with friends in Shipment, Shoot House, and Scrapyard, the most exhilarating Multiplayer maps in Call of Duty, built to handle the most intense firefights.” Thus far, the pre-registration counter still teeters over 45 million. However, this unlocked the reward ‘Rebirth Island’ already.
