Over the Summer, Microsoft turned back on the old Call of Duty servers for games like Black Ops 1, 2, Modern Warfare 2, and Modern Warfare 3. It’s expected that Microsoft will close on the Activision Blizzard acquisition by October 18th with the CMA softening their pushback on the deal. Recently, players have been getting a message about old Call of Duty games coming to Xbox Game Pass when trying to purchase them.
Noticed by @MauroNL on Twitter/X, Call of Duty: Ghosts looks to be one of the games going to be available on Xbox Game Pass:
Seems like changes for Activision Blizzard titles are being made in the Xbox Store backend.
Some users are reporting Call of Duty titles having Game Pass messages or links in the their store pages.

Another game that looks to eventually hit Game Pass is Black Ops II as noticed by Idle Sloth on Twitter/X:
(FYI) If you try to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops II in the Store you get a very peculiar message that says:
"You receive this item for free with your gaming subscription. Continue to check out and use it forever!"

It wouldn’t shock the world if this becomes official by the Holiday season for old Call of Duty games to join the best deal in gaming. This would not mean Modern Warfare III joins Game Pass as that would have to wait until 2025.
What do you think about this potential move?
