Call Of The Sea Officially Arrives December 8 For Xbox & PC

While there are some heavy hitting title that were featured at the Xbox Game Showcase such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and The Medium, there are plenty of other third-party titles that were presented in which Microsoft presented at the time. One being Call of the Sea, a first-person puzzle explorer set in the 1930s on a deserted, tropical island. The game is being developed by Spain-based studio Out of the Blue and will be the firm’s inaugural entry.

At the time, the game was featured to arrive to Xbox One alongside Xbox Series X as a Smart Delivery-supported title. However, a release date for the game was not mentioned or even referenced that the time of the game’s announcement. But now in a new trailer uploaded by publisher Raw Fury, the project is said to release next month.

“It is 1934, in the far reaches of the South Pacific,” the game’s overview reads on the Microsoft Store. “Norah has crossed the ocean following the trail of her missing husband’s expedition and finds herself on a lush island paradise – a nameless, forgotten place, dotted with the remnants of a lost civilization.”

Most interestingly, the description for the game also shares that game is a project being developed in Unreal Engine 4. Atop of that, protagonist Norah is being voiced by Cissy Jones most noted for her roles as Delilah from Firewatch and Katjaa from The Walking Dead Season One.
