Entertaining what Capcom has to offer in 2022 so far, fans are eager to return to Monster Hunter Rise this summer. In that, the game is scheduled to receive its first major expansion – Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. Capcom later on shared it will be launching a compilation of fighting games under the Capcom Fighting Collection alias later this June as well.

Additionally, reports recently told the firm is preparing to reveal Resident Evil 4 Remake as well. Although it is very straightforward with the return to legacy Resident Evil titles, the story explains the game is a grimmer retelling based off the betas/demos for the game this time around. The release roadmap also added Street Fighter 6 which is to share more information later in the summer as well.

From the recent PlayStation State of Play, the livestream revealed Exoprimal, a new dino survival experience where dinosaurs literally rain onto major cities and you must suit up in mechanized armor to fight off the primal beasts. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

“In the near future, strange occurrences are threatening humanity’s existence. Vortexes are opening in the sky, flooding cities with deadly creatures from the prehistoric era. As raptors cascade from above and Tyrannosaurus Rexes stomp through the streets, it’s up to squads of five brave Exofighters in mechanized combat armor, known as Exosuits, to fight back against the dinosaurs who threaten to push humanity toward extinction.”

Capcom continues, “Exosuits are the last line of defense holding off the ravenous reptiles laying waste to the modern world, and squads will need to make smart choices about what suits they bring into any given situation. Repelling thousands of dinosaurs is no easy task, so you’ll need to make sure your crew is ready for anything… including a potential clash with another team of Exofighters.”

Previously, it was reported that developer Capcom Vancouver ahead of its closure did pitch to work on a new Dino Crisis game. And while Exoprimal is not directly a new game in the series, it is shocking that Capcom did not pull through with the project since it is revisiting other legacy titles.
