In practice, Capcom’s continued effort of releasing legacy collections has yet to be tiresome. For roughly half a decade on modern consoles, beloved releases from the Japanese publisher has been issued across multiple franchises. Over the past year, this effort still remains with entries like Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy & Ace Attorney Investigations Collection then.
Additionally, Capcom also issued the long-requested MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. Alongside the namesake releases, it also consists of other titles like The Punisher which has been out of reach for years. In the same vein, Capcom also confirmed that games MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics & Capcom Fighting Collection 2 are confirmed for Xbox release in 2025.
This week, the firm shares that MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is out now on Xbox. And, that Capcom Fighting Collection 2 arrives later this May. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

The press release continues: “As a preorder bonus, players will unlock rearranged versions of Soy Sauce for Geese and Rival Schools Medley by CAP-JAMS, available for listening within the in-game Museum! Additionally, a limited number of physical copies of the collection will include a Capcom vs. SNK original comic!”
