The Capcom Fighting Collection is packed with content, and I mean packed. When I look at the list of titles included in this collection, there’s two things that come to mind. Creative classics and competitive greatness. This collection nails both of these to perfection. First, you get the fantastic Darkstalkers series in its entirety. Plus, for the first time ever, all of these games are running arcade perfect with rollback net code. You also get a handful of other classic games, some that have never been officially released outside of Japan

The classic lives again

These are the full list of titles included in Capcoms Fighting Collection.

  • Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
  • Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
  • Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire
  • Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
  • Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire
  • Red Earth
  • Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness
  • Super Puzzle Fighter 2
  • Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
  • Hyper Street Fighter 2

All titles have been presented with arcade perfect ROMS and even include options such as the American and Japanese release version. Unlike the Street fighter collection, every title listed includes online with full lobbies and fantastic net code. Playing arcade perfect Super Puzzle Fighter 2 with people online has been a tremendous amount of fun, and I’m also not as good as I feared.

Creative animation, competitive multiplayer, ground-breaking games with unforgettable memories. If you experienced these back in the day, then you know what I’m talking about. If you didn’t experience these classic games, then they hold up great. Capcom even included training modes for these titles, and it’s never been a better time to jump in and experience these classics.

The package is also fully fleshed out with extensive museum features and full game soundtracks. They even commissioned new artists to give these old titles a fresh set of art work. We may never experience a brand new Darkstalkers, but this collection is more than sufficient to keep the dream alive.
