Following a trail of teases that developer The Behemoth has left surrounding Caste Crashers Remastered, it was pretty evident that the revision of the 2008 title will be migrating to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 at a later point in 2019. Showing off colored Joy Cons and light-respected Dualshock 4s, fans patiently waited for the game to finally come to the two platforms.
Now today, The Behemoth has opened the floodgates allowing players on the PlayStaion Store and Nintendo eShop can pick up the game for $14.99.
You've got enemies to bash, princesses to rescue, and castles to crash…

Initially, the remastered version launched on the Xbox One back in 2015 which owners of the Xbox 360 version could pick up for free: PC owners on Steam were also gifted the remaster iteration of Castle Crashers as well.
The new touched up Castle Crashers includes the same epic tale that players enjoyed back when the game released alongside a handful of improvements for the newer hardware such as better resolution, unlocked framerate, and overhaul on the multiplayer experience for the game. A new mini-game dubbed “Back Off Barbarian” was added with the remastered version which pit the player as a tabletop piece to avoid antagonizing barbarians from stomping on you.
It is said that the Switch version of the game will offer additional features such as HD rumble and 4 player local Joy Con support. PlayStation 4 users will notice the light of their Dualshock 4 change colors to the character they play in-game.
Castle Crashers Remastered is out now for Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
