Avalanche Studios introduced the Generation Zero to the world back in June, grabbing attention for their 80s-set online game. With more to be revealed in the months following, the studio revealed news for the closed beta for the anticipated title.

In a pre-beta stream for the game, developers showed off some never before seen gameplay of the alternate Sweden-based survival. During the stream, details were announced for the approaching closed beta. Which will take place between October 17 – October 21. Divided between Xbox, PlayStation, and PC: 100,000 players will have the chance to explore the robot inhabited world.

But for those interested should reserve their spot now as applications will close for the beta on August 30th 12 AM PST. You can sign up here on the game’s website.

For another game to be added by the creators of Just Cause and Mad Max (2014), online is a new territory we haven’t seen much from Avalanche. Seeing the first glimpses of the title, it seems promising with another solid title on the way. This closed beta will give better insight to fans  on whether the game will be worth being excited for.
