Major news is reported to come out of Sony and part of that is longtime executive, Connie Booth leaving the company after 34 years. She was most recently named VP, Head of Development Strategy after she worked with Guerrilla.
This report comes from David Jaffe who claims his sources within Sony and others on the outside have said she is no longer with PlayStation.
“What I can tell you is she is no longer with Sony, I don’t know if she was fired or laid off everyone’s telling me she was fired. Then I heard her team was walked out of the building” Jaffe said in his recent YouTube video.
David Jaffe also says Connie Booth will also be replaced by Angie Smets who worked at Guerrilla for two decades.
Connie Booth has been known to work on iconic Sony franchises like God of War: Ragnarok, Marvel Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us: Part II, Days Gone, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and many more.
David also made a tweet saying more industry insiders might have further information about this in the next day.
Sad, frustrating, potentially super disrespectful news dropping tomorrow about Playstation if my sources are correct. I talk around it in this members only video but in less than 24 hours I'm sure the journalists will get hold of it and tell the tale. It's not a lock but these 2…
