In the lineage that is the wait for Rust on console, many already welcomed the idea that the versions for Xbox and PlayStation are way further ahead in time than fans would hope. But when discussion continues to resurface on the matter, followers still congregate to learn more of the coming ports. Back in December, Double Eleven pressed that the game’s translation to console is arriving in the coming year.
Aimed for 2021, the publisher only leaves a generalized release window and fans are left still waiting for a more approximate timeframe. That was until the most recent teaser trailer for Rust reveals that the game is arriving to Xbox One & PlayStation 4 later this spring. Additionally, there is also footage for both versions respectively uploaded which elaborates on the performance for both machines.

“The only aim in Rust is to survive,” the synopsis for the game read’s on its Steam page. “To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.”
In the description for the PlayStation 4 gameplay, Double Eleven presses that it emphasizes on player deaths to show the stress of the game on console and illustrates that the game still comes out as you would hope outside the realm of PC. The Xbox One version presents similar results as well for the most part.
