Counter-Strike 2 exists and its Beta could come this month

Reports of Counter-Strike 2 have been swirling and it’s reported to be real and that its Beta could launch as early as this month. This report comes from Richard Lewis, who is very involved in the Esports scene as a journalist, caster, analyst and tournament host.

He reports that the title of the sequel will be ‘Counter-Strike 2 with the potential beta release date for this month.

“The new version is almost certainly set to be released under the working title Counter-Strike 2 and the tentative release date for the beta is in this month of March with April 1st at the outside.”

Another rumor suggested that the game has been in QA testing and a couple professional players have already seen it.

“The sources explained that the game was “about ready to go” and had said that it had even already been tested by an unnamed group of professional players that were flown out in secret to Valve’s headquarters in Seattle.”

You would think CS:GO 2 is going to keep up with Riot Games’ Valorant and it looks like it is with 128 tick servers to bring it in line with its competitor.

“The big question for the community has been whether or not official servers would be 128 tick bringing it in line with rival title Valorant. The sources confirmed that this would be the case and that this feature would likely be ready at the launch of the beta.”

It seems long over due for a new CS:GO title and it looks like it will be officially happening this year.
