In an abrupt announcement that took place back in May of this year, developer Croteam alongside publisher Devolver Digital shared that Serious Sam 4 is currently underway. What made the announcement more exciting is that the near decade-long wait for this new entry will officially be arriving to PC via Steam and Stadia later this coming August.

Now, just close to two months since its conception, the two companies have returned to share a new trailer for the highly-anticipated fourth installment in the series. In said trailer revealed at today’s Devolver Direct, fans can witness the first glimpse at gameplay footage for Serious Sam 4.

Elsewhere during today’s Devolver Direct presentation, Devolver Digital also shown off Devolverland Expo: tour the deserted convention center after the show was abruptly cancelled. In the experience, you can visit booths dedicated to coming projects being published by Devolver Digital such as Weird West, Shadow Warrior 3, and the July-scheduled Carrion.
