As part of our exclusive coverage on the marketed titles for Microsoft, CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most anticipated games on our list. Interrupting Xbox Head Phil Spencer as he was closing the event with a digital glitch taking over the stage leading to showcasing the upcoming sci-fi title.
Since Cyberpunk’s original announcement back in 2012 and the teaser in 2013, glued many fans for a glimpse of what we can expect from CD Projekt Red. Shown in the trailer is a glimpse of Night City, the world the game is set in as talked over by what seems to be the protagonist. Who you play is V, a new gun for hire with your first serious contact. In a city full of Netrunners, life-hackers and cybernetic street warriors.
CD Projeckt Red also confirmed that 2077 will also be part of Mike Pondsmith’s tabletop RPG Cyberpunk 2020.
Besides the trailer, there’s still no information on when the game will be available and what platforms the title will be listed for.
