Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 30 million copies

CD Projekt Red announced today on social media that Cyberpunk 2077 has now sold over 30 million copies across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. They’ve also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the game’s first major expansion, has sold 8 million copies.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10, 2020. Initially, the game had a rough launch, but it has since made a significant turnaround. CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will receive another new animation project to be released on Netflix.

“I’m also very happy to announce that we’re working on another animation project set in the Cyberpunk universe, which will be released on Netflix,” said Chief Financial Officer, Piotr Nielubowics in the company’s latest earnings call.
