Dark Pictures’ Little Hope Rescheduled Release To Arrive Just In Time For Halloween

Fans in anticipation for the second Dark Pictures Anthology entry ‘Little Hope’ from Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games were enthralled by the knowledge that the title would arrive sometime later this summer. However, due to the circumstances of the development team operating from home primarily, the project faced a hefty delay into the fall.

But despite what is an upsetting reveal for followers, this does better suit the game as it reaches closer to the grueling season of Halloween in that same timeframe. Now in a new announcement, the team alongside publisher Bandai Namco announces that the game will keep players occupied if they decide to not leave their house during the day of ghouls and goblins.

In a new blog post, The Dark Pictures: Little Hope will officially be arriving on October 30 for all supported systems. And with the newly slated release date, there are two different pre-order editions up for pre-purchase now:

Limited-Edition Bundle

Includes Dark Pictures: Man of Medan; Dark Pictures: Little Hope; Dark Pictures Cloth Map; two decorative map pins; a specialized steelbook.

Collector’s Edition

Includes Dark Pictures: Little Hope; Dark Pictures Cloth Map; two decorative map pins; a specialized steelbook; replica of Mary’s 1692 poppet.

To fit the mood even more, the group-centered Movie Night Mode will be returning for Dark Pictures: Little Hope. Groups up to five can play local, couch co-op as each player will control a protagonist for the new story. Especially for fans who decide on staying in as this ongoing pandemic has yet to simmer, it would be a fun pastime during the popular holiday.

Do you plan on picking up The Dark Pictures: Little Hope later this October?
