It’s been over a year since we heard something about the gory killing zombie game Dead Island 2. At the time, Deep Silver parted ways with Spec Ops: The Line developer ‘Yager’ leaving Dead Island sequel in a hellish spot. They [Spec Ops developer] said its vision for the game had “fallen out of alignment” with the publisher, thus forcing the developer to file bankruptcy.

Eurogamer asked for an update regarding the development process of Dead Island 2 – here’s what they said:
“Dead Island 2 is in development at Sumo Digital, and we are excited by the progress the team are making with Deep Silver’s most successful IP. When we are ready to share more information, we will.”
No one knows exactly when we will hear more information, probably at E3 or Gamescom, but until we hear more, stay tuned here!
