THQ Nordic has just acquired parent company of Saint’s Row and Dead Island Koch Media. As well as publisher Deep Silver of the Metro series.
Uniting all THQ franchises, acquiring Koch also included Dambuster Studio that developed Homefront: The Revolution.
Since THQ originally closed back in 2013 and Nordic Games acquired the titles for $5 million along with the trademark, changing their name to THQ Nordic in 2016. And Deep Silver buying Volition (Saint’s Row developer) and Metro. This acquisition brings all THQ titles together once again since then.
With this new deal, we might see a sooner future for the prolonged, Kickstarted title Shenmue 3 and the forgotten Dead Island 2 also as both are under Deep Silver.
