While the new month has already kicked off, the next batch of PlayStation Plus free games is not entirely ready just yet. For the month of January 2023, there were three games to install: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Axiom Verge 2, and Fallout 76. However, this lineup is open to download for all PlayStation Plus members until February 6th.
The following day is when the next roster for free games go live. On Wednesday, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced there will be four additions this month. Starting off, Destiny 2’s ‘Beyond Light’ expansion will be offered for subscribers. Atop of that, the other highlighted games include Evil Dead: The Game, OlliOlli World, and Mafia: Definitive Edition. This offer ends on March 6th.
Noted, Mafia: Definitive Edition is the only game featured solely for PlayStation 4. Whilst backwards compatible, it does not include a native version for PlayStation 5. Howbeit, the remaining Evil Dead: The Game, OlliOlli World, and Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be included for both PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5.
As for other recent PlayStation Plus additions, the Extra & Premium tiers for the service entered in more exciting titles. In mid-January, the service welcomed Back 4 Blood, Devil May Cry V, Just Cause 4, Life is Strange, and Syphon Filter 3. You can read the full report by heading here.
