Bloomberg is reporting that Bungie has delayed multiple projects including the upcoming Destiny 2 ‘The Final Shape’ expansion that was announced to be released in February 2024. Jason Schreier is reporting that due to the recent layoffs happening at the now PlayStation Studio, they have delayed a couple of announced projects.

“Bungie recently delayed an upcoming Destiny 2 expansion, The Final Shape until June from February, pushing it out of Sony Group Corp.’s current fiscal year.” This comes from people who did not want to be identified that were close to Bungie Studios.

Along with the Destiny 2 expansion delay, Bungie is delaying Marathon to a 2025 release that was originally planned for a 2024 release. Now the expectation is that The Final Shape expansion for Destiny 2 will be released in June 2024.
