While plenty of the most notable release that arrive to Xbox Game Pass happens to be the talk of the town on the platform, not all releases end up on the service believe it or not. That is the case for Acid Nerve’s Death’s Door this past July. While it quietly released on Xbox and PC at the time, the game studio was praised for the game’s launch then for its creative experience and addicting gameplay.

“It’s such an enjoyable experience that you’ll find the time fly by while playing,” critic Gregory Dawes pens in his review for the game. Adding, “It’s one of the few titles I’ve played in recent years that I felt compelled to finish in a single sitting, an impressive feat as I’ve found it harder to actually finish my massive growing backlog of games.”

On Thursday during the PlayStation State of Play livestream, Acid Nerve announces that Death’s Door is to hit the PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 this November. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“We have been working hard to make sure these versions of the game will be everything PlayStation fans want, with even more enhancements for PS5 […]As the sound designer, I was eager for the opportunity to create full haptic feedback support as soon as we started work on the PS5 version. This can be approached with as much detail as sound design – reflecting the weight, speed, complexity, and feel of each impact in the game,” Acid Nerve Producer & Designer David Fenn shares.

“When battling the Guardian of the Door, you can feel the overwhelming rush of energy from its laser attacks, while never losing the sensation of its weighty footsteps, the crack of each missile hitting the ground, and the impact of each of your attacks against it. These can all happen simultaneously without anything getting muddled up thanks to the fidelity of the DualSense controller.”

Are you excited for Death’s Door to ship for more platforms?

Death’s Door arrives to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 23, 2021; out now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
