While the previous Microsoft v. FTC case took place back in at the start of summer 2023, the Xbox firm remained on top following the proceedings to be in their favor for the Activision Blizzard acquisition. But more recently, new documents have leaked online sharing the coming roadmap for Xbox. One being the mid-generation, digital-only Xbox Series system alongside a gyro-supported Xbox controller as well.

Additionally, other documents shared newer ambitions atop of Activision Blizzard. In 2020, it was revealed that the Xbox firm, again, had interest to approach Nintendo to acquire the company. Of course, the ambition never became anything more. Elsewhere, another shared Microsoft’s coming launch lineup including a slew of unannounced Bethesda titles as well.

In one document revealing an email chain, it reveals a discussion with Xbox leaders on the firm pursuing Xbox Cloud Gaming for PlayStation 5. However, most of the issue is being the lack of a supported browser on the system. You can read the exchange in the image below:

Part of the discussion in one sentence from Xbox corporate vice president Kareem Choudhry expressed interest to further pursue this in bringing game streaming to PlayStation via Xbox. “We could always push Sony to support from cloud via browser or via a dedicated GamePass/Xbox app. so there are real possibilities of player access on PS5 without native development,” he wrote.

In terms of another string of documents pertaining to xCloud, it is revealed Microsoft intentionally pulled its games from NVIDIA GeForce Now to better its own platform. The firm even refrained titles like Minecraft from being on other competing streamers such as PlayStation Now. You can read the full report by heading here.
