DOOM: The Dark Ages reached 3 million players

Bethesda and id Software officially released DOOM: The Dark Ages for everyone on May 15, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, and Game Pass. Today, Bethesda announced that DOOM: The Dark Ages has reached 3 million players across all platforms since its launch.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is now the biggest launch in id Software’s history, which was 7x faster to 3 million players than DOOM Eternal. There is no question that Xbox and PC Game Pass helped the player count for The Dark Ages this time around as well.

Bethesda or Xbox has not yet shared how many sales the game has made overall.
