DOOM: The Dark Ages has made an appearance at the Xbox Games Showcase as the second game presented right after Black Ops 6. The trailer showcased what looked to be the medieval setting that was rumored and it had classic DOOM gameplay and music that hardcore fans remember.
When Will DOOM: The Dark Ages Release?
DOOM: The Dark Ages will be released for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Windows and Steam. It will also be available on Game Pass day one like all first-party Xbox games.
The Dark Ages is the prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal and the third installment of the modern DOOM series. This title is once again developed by id Software. DOOM: The Dark Ages is a single-player action FPS that tells the epic cinematic origin story of the DOOM Slayer’s rage.
