Though Nintendo fans on both Apple’s App Store and Google’s Google Play storefronts have to wait patiently for Mario Kart Tour to drop for the mobile platforms, in the meantime however Nintendo will be introducing Dr. Mario World with a set date for July 10th next month.
As like the original 1990 title for the NES, players are given the objective to match color-coded capsules with the corresponding viruses to clear the board. The description for the coming mobile title advises the new doctors to pace themselves as “each puzzling stage’s configuration of viruses must be cleared using a limited number of capsules.”

The new website for the game also details that there will be hundreds of levels for players to enjoy and promises that more are set to release through different worlds during the course of the title’s post-launch schedule. There is no information regarding how content will distributed following the game’s release in July.
Another niche feature that will be introduced with the approaching matching title is through the heart-sharing stage mode: which allows players to give stamina hearts to others when in dire need. Other online elements present is the versus mode where player can go head-to-head with one opponent to see who can outlast the other.
