Looking at advanced controllers for current consoles, both Microsoft & Nintendo have first-party gamepads to fit the description. From Nintendo, the firm has the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller – compared to the Joy-Cons, it definitely is an upgrade to say the least. Then there is the Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller which is crafted with a frame to handled extended playtime and includes metal pieces adjusted for your play style.
Additionally, Microsoft just recently shipped the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core. The game paddle is a white variant sold at a lower price which does not include the metal back paddles and interchangeable analog sticks. Looking at PlayStation, it was at Gamescom this August the firm revealed the DualSense Edge controller which will offer an advanced experience similar to the competition.
This week, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the controller will launch this January as pre-orders are to kick off next week on October 25th. You can watch the new features trailer for the controller in the video below:
