Dying Light: Bad Blood was Techland’s attempt to bringing their 2015 undead parkour title to the recent popular Battle Royale game mode. With not much information released on it since its reveal last year, the developer has announced it’s release window for Steam’s Early Access.

Blending both PvP and PvE, Bad Blood places only twelve players, instead of the more known hundred with only one who can make it out alive. Infused with the series’ fast-paced gameplay, Bad Blood will change up how we already know Battle Royale. The objective is for players to collect blood packets from zombie nests in order to purchase a helicopter ticket. That’s where the survival really takes place, as the landing zone is where players will have to fight their way into the one-seated helicopter.

The newly announced Early Access title will eventually be free, but players now can purchase the Founders Pack for $19.99 to get access to the game. Included in the pack are items such as weapon & player cosmetics in addition to an in-game currency labeled as ‘Blood Bucks’. The player skins in this pack will be exclusive Legendary skins that will be given in the months coming to its Early Access Release.

Techland will be hosting Global Playtest Sessions at the end of August and early September. One for selected players on August 25 and 26, and later for September 1 and 2, which you can sign up for right now on their website.

Once Bad Bloods goes free-to-play, the studio will give the game constant free updates which will include new content, maps and game modes.

Dying Light: Bad Blood will be coming to Early Access this September. With a console release at a later unannounced date.
