Square Enix revealed at the publisher’s annual press conference that the remastered iteration of 2003’s Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will be landing just at the brink of 2020 with a early Winter release this December.
The game initially announced back in September, fans of the franchise were eager to get their hands on the title as the initial GameCube exclusive RPG required four different players to link their own respected Game Boy Advanced devices to the console to play the title, which only burdened fans that bought the title and didn’t expect the extra hoops they had to jump through to play.
Now players will be able to embark on the journey to soil Misama’s plans to flood the Tipa and the lands surrounding with a dangerous gas. Back in early-Fall, the title was announced for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch to support online play with friends at any point: now with the recent announcement, players will also be able to join on the journey through mobile as well.
