One of the more unpredictable announcements that were made at this year’s Ubisoft press conference was from Ubisoft Owlient with Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad. A 5v5 mobile title where you form your own squad with iconic characters that live within the Tom Clancy universe crafted by Ubisoft.

Towards the squads you create will be compiled of different faces, good and bad, from franchises like Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and The Division. For the sake of the trailer showcased, characters like Sam Fischer and Nomad are only some of the bevy players will be able to choose from in this new tactical title.

Players will be able to train and upgrade characters and squads as they play to stay one step ahead of the opposing band of characters. The description shares that there are “hundreds of weapons & gear items” which you can apply to your squads to better the outcome. On top of the roster of Tom Clancy-inspired maps that will also be available when the title goes live.

Currently, players have the option to pre-register for the title and those who do for either platform will receive the Cole D. Walker exclusive character from Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. You can visit here to pre-register for the Elite Squad.

In other mobile-related news this E3, Microsoft revealed that Gears Pop! is available for pre-order with a Fall release date set in place.

Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad will be “coming soon” to Android and iOS.
