E3 2019: Ubisoft Reveals Standalone Survival Title Rainbow Six Quarantine

This year’s Ubisoft press conference as we already knew from watching had Rainbow Six Siege showcasing the launch trailer for Operation Phantom Sight that goes live tomorrow on June 11th, but what many were surprised to see was the announcement for the standalone title based on the same Tom Clancy series, Rainbow Six Quarantine.

The reveal trailer only gave a hint of what exactly the new game is, but Lead game Designer Bio Jade gives a full synopsis of what the game truly is comprised up. Jade explains that Quarantine is a “squad-based, tactical shooter” where you with two other teammates are given the objective to survive what plagues you and to fight off the creatures that prowl throughout the level.

The Lead Game Designer does shares that there will be some similarities between Quarantine and Siege either that being weapons, gear, or foundational elements of the series. Operators from the 2015 title have been confirmed to make an appearance such as Ella and Vigil as seen in the announcement video.Click here to watch the full teaser for the game.
