Durning EA’s latest earnings call, CEO Andrew Wilson talks about EA Access and how it could finally be coming to PlayStation 4. This is what he had to say: “Our subscription player base continues to grow, and you should expect us to continue driving this model to more platforms going forward”
EA Access was first released back in August 2014 for the Xbox One and expanded to PC platform in 2016 with Origin Access. Sony said that they did not think the service provided a good value to PS4 customers and declined it back when this program was introduced on Xbox One. Nowadays, with the new Sony Interactive Entertainment boss John Kodera, he thinks EA Access really does bring a good value to consumers and we may see EA Access on Sony’s platform.
