During the first annual EA Play Live last year in 2019, Electronic Arts set the spotlight on the EA Originals teams to showcase some of the exciting new projects from the small team developers backed by the resources over at EA. One was developer Zoink Games: studio responsible for 2018’s Fe, the development team has returned to showcase a new project dubbed Lost in Random.
However, the team only spared little on the project as it was still in early phases of development. Now during the most recent EA Play Live showcase this week, Zoink Games has returned with a full trailer for Lost in Random which also includes gameplay of the coming action adventure title,
You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
“Welcome to the world of Random, a dark kingdom where every citizen’s future is determined by the roll of a dice. Will you be defeated by your fate or embrace chaos and learn to make it work in your favor? Embark on a journey with Even and her sidekick Dicey to play the odds and break the curse of Random,” the synopsis for the game reads on the official website.
Zoink Games CEO Klaus Lyngeled and Game Director Olav Redmalm tell Lost in Random to be an even weirder title than its last for the Swedish developer. During the EA Play show, the two explain that this new project will divide players on how they want to play either through intuition-based skills or to chance their luck like a roll of a dice. That ambition also holds as the theme for the game both metaphorically and visually for Lost in Random.
