During New York Comic Con, D3Publisher shared news about Earth Defense Force 6. The game had already been available in Japan, but now it will be coming to the west. Earth Defense Force 6 will be released in Spring 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. A release on the Epic Games Store will come afterwards.

An Xbox or Nintendo Switch release for Earth Defense Force 6 is currently not planned.
