The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake might be revealed in January

There have been rumors of an Xbox Direct being held in January for the third consecutive year where Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda Game Studios, and Activision titles will be showcased. It was previously rumored The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake was in development by Virtuos Studio.

According to reputable insider, Ex1stasis, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake is legit and we could see a release in 2025, but also we could see a reveal for the game in January 2025. The insider speculates that it could be revealed at the Xbox Direct and is most likely going to happen next month.

The previous rumors also indicated the remake will use Unreal Engine 5. 

If The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake gets announced, it will be released for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
