It’s a new year which means we will see more Fortnite esport action in the coming months. Today, Epic Games revealed the first skirmish event for the game this year and it’s an invitational more known as the ‘Secret Skirmish’. This up coming event will only 2 days long from February 14th-15th and there will be a $500,000 prize pool.
The Fortnite Secret Skirmish will be held at a undisclosed testing facility and the event will include some of the top players from previous events like the Summer Skirmish at PAX West and the Fall Skirmish at TwitchCon. There will be more news regarding the event as we get closer and there will be some announcements during it as well according to the blog Epic Games put out today. They also state that this will be a great test for their broadcast team for the Fortnite World Cup later this year.
