When it comes to Fortnite’s ability to continue crossing over to reality with in-game hosted concerts and events, the universe we live in is just something we have to accept at this point. Back in December, Epic Games partnered with Lucasfilm to bring an exclusive screening of the approaching Star Wars Episode XI: The Rise of Skywalker. While the event only shared a segment of the film, players could earn other themed items when playing well into January.

Now more recently this past week, Fortnite again returns with another screening of the first trailer for Christopher Nolan’s approaching project Tenet. The developer this time decided to host the viewing party in the newly established Party Royale and held a Q&A following the trailer’s screen time.

Summer Game Fest’s Geoff Keighley told following the reveal that One of Nolan’s previous films will be expecting a ‘full-length screening’ in the coming summer on Fortnite. The online event hosted this Thursday’s screening and confirmed the news following the statement made by lead actor John David Washington.

Regarding the film that will be presented later on in the coming weeks has yet to be pressed into detail. Nolan’s repertoire stretches from his notorious Batman trilogy starring Christian Bale or the latter World War II production Dunkirk which hit theaters back in 2017.

It was not too long ago last month during the debut of Party Royale that Epic Games hosted an eventful celebratory concert for the popular battle royale. Featuring influential performers like Steve Akoi, deadmau5, and Dillion Frances to hold a concert to commemorate the new achievement for the game: Fortnite exceeded 350 million registered players.

In a more recent announcement, Epic Games shared that Fortnite will be coming to next-generation platforms. Even more, the game can expected cross-generation play as well as a new update later on. The firm disclosed that Fortnite on current and upcoming platforms will be updated to Unreal Engine 5 later on in 2021. You can read the full report by heading here.

Are you planning on visiting Party Royale to watch the screened Nolan film later this summer?

Tenet will be available for viewing on July 17, 2020: Fortnite is out now for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
