This month Niantic released some great content for Pokemon Go with the partnership with Starbucks adding about 8,000 new Pokemon gyms and stops, adding some gen 2 Pokemon with Togepi, Pichu, Elekid, Smoochum, Igglypuff, Cleffa, Magby, and they also put in a limited edition Pikachu with a Santa Hat that is only available until the 29th of December.
In a recent blog post by Niantic, they talked about that they now have launched 3,700+ of the 10,500 Sprint, Boost Mobile and Sprint at RadioShack stores as PokéStops, Gyms, and real-world charging stations with more coming online daily.
Not only that, Niantic teases something for more content this month by simply saying this:

“The month isn’t even half over, and it’s been a blast so far. Stay tuned for more.”

It’s going to be interesting what they put out.
