So far for this October, Mediatonic’s Fall Guys faces its next content overhaul to kick off the Halloween-shared month. Last week, Season 2 for the growing in popularity title hit offering players a range of unique experiences that tops what is already available from the game’s base release.
In the aforementioned second season, players can find a plethora of new cosmetics and stages inspired by the medieval era which includes castle, knights, dragons, and witches. And that is only the beginning as more content is expected to pour into the title as the future unravels. For the time being, the studio shares a new addition to the game via a collaborative costume.
By pairing with Sega & Team Sonic, Mediatonic can welcome the Sonic the Hedgehog costume to Fall Guys. The announcement was made this Monday and the costume launches today for players to unlock.
Noted, partnered costumes certainly is not anything new for Fall Guys as the firm has teamed up with other developers to introduce Gris and Untitled Goose Game to Fall Guys as well in the past. But for Sonic the Hedgehog, this is the largest collaboration yet. This is not the first themed cosmetics based off of Sega’s mascot franchise as the firm also teamed with Gungho Online Interactive to feature items for Ninjala earlier on.
In relevance to Sonic the Hedgehog, it was reported recently that the next mainline installment from Team Sonic could be a return to the Sonic Adventure series. In response to a Twitter post, Dr. Eggman voice actor Mike Pollock posts “3 is the Magic Number” which many gather to be referencing a third game is underway. Do you plan on grabbing that Sonic the Hedgehog costume in Fall Guys?
