Fallout 4 reached over 140,000 concurrent players for the first time since 2015

The Fallout Television Series has been a success for Amazon Prime Video and Bethesda Game Studios being the most watched show on the streaming platform worldwide. It seems the TV Series had viewers inspired to go back into the games because all of them have seen a surge in player counts. Fallout 4 had a massive surge reaching over 140,000 concurrent players on Steam for the first time since 2015.

On April 20, 2024, Fallout 4 on Steam reached a 24-hour peak of 141,095 players which hasn’t been reached since December 2015 which was just a month after the game was released. Keep in mind this number doesn’t even count console players or those on PC Game Pass. The closest Fallout 4 has seen was in January 2016 when it reached a peak of 119,272 players.

Fallout 4 has consistently been staying around the 20K – 30K player counts, but it was unexpected to see this game earn such a boost from the TV Show. Fallout 76 continues to hit new peaks that it never even saw on Steam since it was released in 2018.

Bethesda and Amazon confirmed that Season 2 for Fallout has already been renewed after just a week of it being released.
