
As many Call of Duty followers are already chimed in on, the latest content season for Modern Warfare has shipped earlier today for all supported systems. However, there looks to be a huge connotation surrounding this new release for Season 4 as many players online are reporting to be facing a download size that is more than double the initially listed install capacity.
Instead of being greeted with a measly 44 GB download, users on Xbox One are finding the install size to be nearly twice that. Looking at the trending on Twitter earlier on, this issue became the second leading topic on the platform. Reading ‘84 GB’ for the Worldwide trends shows the concern that many have swiftly addressed on the issue which has certainly upset countless users.
Thankfully, Activision has went to address the situation on Twitter and is working on conjuring a solution to users on Microsoft’s console.
Season 4 for Modern Warfare follows a recent postponement in efforts to amplify the voices in protest the injustice against African Americans in the United States. Originally, Infinity Ward aimed to ship the new season on June 3, but now, Season 4 has officially kicked off today on June 11th.
While the issue at hand is still being dealt accordingly at Activision, the contents for Season 4 is still being unraveled and a full rundown for the title is expected to be published later today for Modern Warfare. As of now, it is public knowledge that Captain Price will be an added Operator to the multiplayer modes/Warzone for the first-person shooter.
