Another month means a new duo of free titles coming to Xbox Games with Gold – and for free too. So far for 2023, the month kicked off with Iris Fall and Autonauts. As for what the remaining titles are, the lineup per months has been halved thanks to Microsoft discontinuing legacy titles for the service. The decision was made back in October this past fall and future installments will not include original Xbox or Xbox 360 titles.
So for February 2023 on the horizon already, the Xbox firm has already laid out its next two free titles for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The two being For the King and Guts N Goals. Regarding the first title, you might have already seen the game before with it being featured on Xbox Game Pass back in July 2019 when headlined alongside Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain & Resident Evil 4.
“The King has been murdered and the kingdom is in chaos. It’s up to you and your makeshift band to help save the land. Play single-player, local, or online coop and choose to stick together or split your party to cover more ground. Battle in fast and brutal turn-based combat using your unique skills. Survive cunning enemies, hidden traps, and wicked weather as you fight and explore to solve the mystery of the king’s murder and restore order to the realm,” For The King’s synopsis reads.
“Play the world’s greatest game turned on its head and on a skating rink or the beach! Gut N Goals is an arcade-style soccer game where you get to beat up your friends as you try to score,” Guts N Goals overview reads. “Get your bat and get smack-tastic in multiple crazy stadiums each with their own unique mechanics. Try out lots of fun mini-games. Watch out for penalties…oh wait, there are no penalty cards! Go nuts!”
Noted, last month’s titles – Iris Fall and Autonauts – are still available to install if you have not already. Those two are up for install until January 31st. Which game do you plan to download first next month?
For the King is available from February 1, 2023 to February 28, 2023 and Guts N Goals is be free to download from February 15, 2023 to march 15, 2023.
