Final Fantasy VII Remake Revealed

During the Playstation Experience keynote, right off the bat Square Enix revealed a remake for Final Fantasy VII. The PC re-release for Final Fantasy VII is available right now. Square Enix has announced that the port of Final Fantasy VII launches today on PlayStation 4. Final Fantasy VII will be availabe on Xbox One after Playstation 4 receives it.

Final Fantasy VII is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) for thePlayStation platform. Released in 1997, is the seventh installment in the Final Fantasy series and the first in the series to use 3D computer graphics, featuring fullyrendered characters on pre-rendered backgrounds. It was also the first game in the main series to be released in Europe. Final Fantasy VII follows protagonist Cloud Strife, a mercenary who initially joins the eco-terrorist rebel organization AVALANCHE to stop the world-controlling megacorporation Shinra from draining the life of the planet for use as an energy source. As the story progresses, Cloud and his allies become involved in a larger world-threatening conflict, facing off against Sephiroth, the game’s main antagonist.
