It has been a few months since Final Fantasy XVI released on PlayStation 5 from Square Enix and today, producer Naoki Yoshida announced that Final Fantasy XVI will be coming to PC. This comes from a special video message that was shared on Twitter where Yoshida shared more information of what’s to come for the game in the future.
Along with the game coming to PC, Naoki Yoshida announced a free update for the game is now available that includes alternate costumers for several characters.
A FREE update for FINAL FANTASY XVI launches today, with alternate costumes for several characters (including the protagonist, Clive). We have also added a feature that allows you to change the appearance of Clive’s weapons and a brand new weapon, the Onion Sword, to his arsenal!
Lastly, Yoshida announced there will be two paid DLC coming to the latest Final Fantasy with more information coming by the end of the year. More news about the PC release will also be shared by the time this year concludes.
In our review of Final Fantasy XVI we gave it a 9.5 out of 10. Square Enix recently mentioned that their latest Final Fantasy game underperformed in sales.
