We are already halfway through Season 5: Reckoning for Halo Infinite and 343 Industries announced a new update coming to the game on December 5. One of the new game modes that was teased for this season was Firefight: King of the Hill and it will finally join the game with this Mid-Season update.
Firefight: King of the Hill will allow up to four-player co-op and it will come with three community-made maps along with the House of Reckoning map from the Halo Infinite campaign. In total, there will be nine maps in the playlist when it drops.
The purpose of this new twist on Firefight is to take down the banished while capturing hills More details on this mode will be revealed on December 4.
One of the other new additions coming to Halo Infinite is the Repair Field equipment where it’s compared to the Regenerator from Halo 3. It’s a neutral piece of Equipment that heals allies and enemies within its radius. The neat part about the Repair Field is that it can repair damaged vehicles and attach to them. Lastly, it can revive downed Spartans which will be useful in Firefight.
