After the long haul of waiting for the Halo Television Series, the TV show is imminent from releasing. Just recently at the Xbox Anniversary Livestream in November, Showtime unveiled the first official teaser for the new TV series underway. However, 2022 is the paved release window for the new show. Despite that, there is more to come for the television show later this week.
While there is uncertainty hiding behind the airing of the new TV series, a full-length trailer is aimed to launch at The Game Awards this Thursday. Alongside new footage, hopefully we get a greater understanding of the timeframe for the release of the Halo Television Series as well. This is not the first entertainment reveal at The Game Awards: the first trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is also being revealed at the show on Thursday.
Although the teaser on Twitter reveals new shots of the upcoming show, it should be noted that more instances of the upcoming production leaked online. Back in June over a handful of images for the TV series surfaced on Reddit including a shot of Master Chief, the title card, a Prophet, and more Warthogs. Additionally, there is good new for worried Cortana fans as well.
Previously, voice actor Jen Taylor shared she will be returning to reprise her role as Master Chief’s blue AI. Originally, actress Natascha McElhone was casted for the role, but, her schedule with other projects resulted in departing from the character. Now Taylor is to portray both Cortana and Dr. Catherine Halsey in the television show.
This week also signifies the launch of Halo Infinite. And with the campaign and multiplayer now out for all users, post-launch is a long road ahead. Thankfully, we compiled all confirmed plans for the game in one piece. You can read the full report by heading here.
