In the last week or so, Capcom alongside Constantin Films and Sony Pictures has begun slipping glimpses for the upcoming Monster Hunter film. Yet another production coming from Resident Evil director Paul S.W. Anderson, many are skeptical on what the new motion picture has to offer – especially acknowledging that Milla Jovovich will also be starring in this new movie as well.

Most recently, publication IGN handled the teaser trailer for the film only offering a brief 17-second showing of the full-length trailer for the approaching flick. Most gathered from the one instance is the monster that breaks out from the surface to reveal itself before sparing the December box office release for the movie.

Now this week, the full trailer has been revealed offering more insight on the approach that the film is taking for the Monster Hunter series. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity,” the description reads as it recites the provided synopsis for the coming Monster Hunter film. “As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.”

In relevancy to Constantin Films, the production studio officially announced to be beginning work on the rebooted Resident Evil film. Most noted is the statement made by Director Johannes Roberts telling the movie to encapture the “terrifying visceral experience” of the first two games.
