While Halo Infinite is currently scheduled to arrive later this fall, the finer details of the game are still at large with information-hungry fans sitting on the edge for new content to devour until the launch date arrives. For certain, aspects of Halo Infinite are to be dished out for free such as multiplayer matchmaking across all platforms – that includes Xbox one, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
In recent weeks, developer 343 Industries elaborated in its latest ‘Inside Infinite’ on the firm’s aim to utilize audio design in creating an experience as tangible as what you see on the screen. However, it is also evident in regards to what players are desiring the most: that being information on the competitive esports for Halo Infinite. While the studio has addressed there will be a strong presence, nothing has been established yet.
That was until Halo Esports Lead Tahir “Tashi” Hasandjekic on Twitter disclosed to already “lock in” the first venue for what will ultimately be the inaugural kickoff for Halo Infinite esports.
Recently locked in date & venue for first Halo Infinite @HCS event (assuming safe to attend by then) and it's in 2021. Operated by none other than @EsportsEng. Details this Summer. See you there?

Discussing more in regards to the multiplayer for Halo Infinite, 343 Industries previous pressed on some elements that will be influenced in online for the game. Although very limiting, the team pressed back in December that the global illumination feature is to be present in multiplayer as well. This will, of course, mark a first for a day/night cycle in matchmaking also.
For recent conversations in regards to Halo Infinite, voice actor Varlon Roberts tells that Halo Infinite is to release sometime in November.
