It is no secret that Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is in the works as Blumhouse already announced the film will hit theaters on December 5, 2025. Matthew Lillard, who plays the role of William Afton, the owner of Fazbear Entertainment was recently interviewed by JayBee & Milly on YouTube talking about some of the projects he has worked on.
Lillard quickly mentioned in the interview regarding his upcoming schedule that Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 will begin filming in October.
The actor didn’t give any other details about the Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 movie, but it is great news for fans of the series. It was already shared by Josh Hutcherson earlier this year that work on the film has already started with Emma Tammi returning as the director.
After the first Five Nights At Freddy’s movie was criticized for its lack of scariness and horror, Blumhouse has made it clear the sequel will have more of a focus on horror.
