Scott Cawthon and his lineage of Five Nights at Freddy’s series has expanded upon four mainline title alongside a spin-off, Sister’s Location. And with the inclusion of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator, there are a total of six games. That was until the announcement of a new title unique to the virtual reality peripheral, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted.
The game shipped last May for PlayStation VR, Oculus Quest, and Windows Mixed Reality. However, the title was later released for platforms outside of VR in December for PlayStation 4 and PC. But this new version also leaves room for fans to expect the game to arrive to even more platforms in the coming future – it is only a matter of when developer Steel Wool Studios decides to make the move.
In an announcement on the team’s website, the studio shares that fans can expect the game to migrate over to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Oculus Quest in the coming months. However, when exactly will be disclosed as further information regarding the novel coronairus starts to decrease in spreading, the team explains.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted is coming soon to these awesome platforms in the next couple of months. We can’t release the exact dates as things are very fluid with the COVID-19 pandemic. But as of right now, everything is currently on schedule. Please hang tight and stay tuned for more detailed news in the coming weeks.
Elsewhere previously, Cawthon shared that the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe is looking to expand in many ways. Ranging from books, ports, and even a film in the making. In a recent blog post on Steam, Cawthon even discloses that a AAA game is also an idea he has in mind for the series in the coming future potentially.
